This series explores the avian form as a carrier of presence—poised between movement and stillness, appearance and disappearance. Rooted in daily observation and refined through memory, these paintings move toward abstraction via layered surfaces and intentional reduction.

The image develops through a process of accretion and erasure: layering, scraping, and dissolving oil and pastel until form emerges as if remembered rather than rendered. These works are meditations on perception and time, inviting a quiet attention to the delicate point where stillness and motion coexist.
