Authored and Initiated Publications

This section presents books I have conceived and developed as an author—projects initiated through personal research, sustained inquiry, and long-term engagement with artists, places, or ideas. In these publications, writing and design are closely intertwined, allowing structure, pacing, and material form to shape how the work is experienced.

While many of these books focus on art, artists, and design, others extend beyond that context to explore architecture, landscape, and place. Projects such as The Ledges, Shelburne Farms, and Marsh, Billings, Rockefeller in Woodstock reflect a broader interest in history, environment, and cultural stewardship, approached with the same attention to clarity, proportion, and thoughtful construction.

Across varied subjects and scales, these publications are shaped not simply as records, but as considered objects—meant to bring together research, narrative, and design in a form that invites sustained engagement over time.
