Nature

I spend as much time as I can outdoors, where the quiet rhythms of the landscape—its colors, textures, and shifting light—shape how I see. Living in a place where the seasons change with both frequency and calm intensity, I am drawn to the understated details that are easy to pass by: the worn surface of a rock, the structure of tree bark, the delicate design of plant forms, a pattern left by weather or time.

These simple, unadorned moments often spark something in me—an impulse toward color, form, or texture that later finds its way into my paintings. This page gathers photographs of those fleeting observations. They are not studies, but reminders of how the natural world offers its own quiet invitations to look more closely.
