This book explores the intertwined histories of three families whose lives shaped the landscape and conservation ethic of Vermont.

Through original photography and historic imagery, I document the Marsh-Billings-Rockefeller National Historical Park and the Billings Farm & Museum, examining how architecture, land use, and stewardship form a lasting model of American preservation.
