Marsh, Billings, Rockefeller in Woodstock

By Glenn Suokko

With an essay by Ryan Polk, Curator, Marsh-Billings-Rockefeller National Historical Park in Woodstock, Vermont

2019, Hardcover, 10 x 8 ½ inches, 128 pages, over 140 color photographs

This book tells the story of three families whose lives and ideals shaped the landscape and conservation movement in Vermont. Through original photography and historic imagery, I document the Marsh-Billings-Rockefeller National Historical Park and the Billings Farm & Museum—exploring how art, architecture, and stewardship are interwoven in the story of American preservation.
