Being an artist and creating artwork can be challenging endeavors. My goal is to paint unique works of art that reflect ideas that interest me: simplicity, rusticity, quietude, and beauty.
I love to work, and I produce a fair amount of work each year, attempting to keep up with the urge to achieve my creative ambitions.
I am often asked which of my paintings are my favorites. The selections of recent work shown here are paintings that I feel are excellent examples that have influenced my creative development, work that has inspired me to push on with the chosen theme, technique, or focus.
