The works on paper from this series are made quickly and directly, often in short, concentrated sessions. Their scale encourages immediacy and decision—each mark carrying weight, each adjustment visible. Working on paper allows for a clarity and openness that feels essential to this phase of the practice.
The paintings function as both independent works and as a space of discovery. Through them, ideas are tested, simplified, and sometimes resolved—sometimes carried forward into larger paintings, and sometimes complete in themselves.
