Marsh, Billings, Rockefeller in Woodstock tells the story of three families and the impact they had on forging a greater environmental consciousness, as well as the role they played in shaping our current framework for preserving and cherishing natural beauty. The book focuses on their common residence, forest, and farm in Woodstock, Vermont. A key part of their shared story is their lasting impact on the rural, cultural heritage of Vermont.

Through original photography, historic images, and artwork, the book provides a visual tour of the historic Mansion, art collection, formal flower gardens, and forest at Marsh-Billings-Rockefeller National Historical Park and the working dairy farm and agricultural history museum at Billings Farm & Museum.
